映画イル・ポスティーノで描かれたのは1950年代のイタリアですが、21世紀の現在でも漁師さんが働いているさまが見られます。日本の漁港などは大規模に機械化されているところがほとんどですが、それに比べるとこちらは漁師さんが網を手入れしている姿が見られたり素朴な風情です。

Il Postino  is the movie filmed the 1950s of Italy, we can also find the working fisherman in the harbor today. Their way to work is not mechanized very much unlike current Japanese one.
